I haven't been getting into any new games recently. I played FFXIII for about eight hours and then completely lost interest. D:

Star Ocean 4 held my attention for a good 40+ hours or so, but I lost interest in that as well. I may have just been telling myself it was an enjoyable game because I liked the first two SO games. XD

Earlier this year I played FFVII and FFIX on my PSP. It's easier to play a game when you can tote it around everywhere you go. :D
I just...haven't spiked too much interest in anything new. Any ideas?

OH GOD I CAN'T DRIVE. So swervy and I can't turn properly and oh god, I predict at some point I'm going to kill someone. Probably a lot of people. :sadpanda:

Is it the same driving physics as GTA4? You know that one where every car has a ludicrously high center of gravity? (I especially loved when I rolled a Lamborghini by turning)

Tried again. Owned Babel with Atsubro's Piercing Deathbound, and Miss Mari on healing duties. Mwa-ha-ha.

Now on third playthrough, just beaten Beldr into snot again. Think I may like this game. :P

Started a new game of inFamous thanks to the lovely gift PSN gave me. I truly forgot how beautiful this game was.

The controls for Prototype were annoying, the visuals just weren't up to par. I thought inFamous had a better story as well.

Recently got the Assassin's Creed games and have been playing them obsessively since then.

Well the first one was actually quite boring but man, did they improve the sequels.

Bulletstorm is a shitton of fun, :monster:. In fact, it's the first fun / fast FPS game I've played in years. Last one must've been Serious Sam (2, I think). And this one's better.

My thoughts as well. The first impression I had of the original game was great. But as I progressed, the missions tend to be repetitive. Revisiting cities with just a few objectives turned somewhat claustrophobic.

I'm currently playing the second title and loving it. There's so much to do it's hard to keep up.

I hated the first AC, 75% of the game was grind. Why can't I run down a steet without every guard for a 5 mile radius assuming I'm a cross between Jack the Ripper & Hitler? :(

Anyway just completed Fallout 3, and I mean COMPLETED. Did everything, there's 70 hours of my life killed off. :wacky:

Bored now, CBA to play New Vegas again because of all the bugs & lack of player housing, I want a gaming PC so I can mod it myself. I checked the Nexus (Modding site), there are mods for: Dressing as Batmam/Catwoman, Clint Eastwood's Man with no name & a TARDIS which moves from location to location. I'd be more interested in the cannon mods, the upgradable Goodsprings home looks awesome. Why do I torture myself looking at things I'll never have. *sigh*

I never finished the game though. As soon as I bought AC 2 I went straight to it. I'm curious to know what happens to Altair but I'm not motivated enough to finish it. I wonder if getting Brotherhood is worth it since it's a direct sequel.

Other than this inner struggle I'm having every know and then I play Demon's Soul. Finished the game once but the character I created is too unbalanced. My fault for realizing too late how to distribute properly the points for each level-up. Second playthrough right now and struggling with Flamelurker.

Eh. You're probably not missing much. If you want to know the end you could just skip all the side missions and just do the basic stuff to move the plot along.

Or you could just watch it on YouTube :monster:

GET BROTHERHOOD. IT'S AMAZING AND BADASS.

Also, I'm confused as to why it wouldn't be worth it?

One thing to say about the series is that they've gotten progressively better (usually it's the opposite).

Eh, video games are one medium where it's not usually the opposite. There certainly are examples of it happening, but I'd say its usual for the first sequel at least to be better than its predecessor.

I've been playing Miles Edgeworth: AA Investigations. Finished the second case so far.

Good game, although the second case was woefully lacking in use of the word "fool" :(

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

About 8 hours into it on Realistic.

I love this game a lot. Even though it uses regenerative health I end up dying most of the time on realistic, and it's about as tactical a pseudo mil-shooter I've played without going into Ghost Recon. It's taken everything I liked about the first game and ramped it up in the second. Great customisation, very solid cover-based shooting.

Heck, there were a few moments so far that actually got some sort of emotional rise out of me! And that I did not expect - even though the first game was fantastic I don't think I was very emotionally connected to the events, but this time around they've got a top-notch story that gets me balls-deep into the plot.

I have a couple of issues, though - the (plot-based) voice acting seems to be incredibly anaemic, as if they had recording issues. I can barely hear the PC's voice over any sort of racket, and it always seems subdued in volume compared to say the earpiece radio chatter or the enemies. And idk this is a pretty insignificant gripe of mine but Ubisoft seems to be incapable of running their games in a window. I really don't get it. I have a Splinter Cell game, a Rainbow Six game and an Assassin's Creed game - none of them have a windowed option and it's sorta getting to me how this is a trend in their products.

Nonetheless, I'm really impressed by how tactical R6's games are. It's a really good team-based game that actually uses the AI very well. I really really really do recommend. Ubisoft can be so underrated next to other big-name publishers/developers, and the Vegas series is a gem.

Playing Suiko III.

I hate you, Guillaume... :C Nasty appraiser dude. Muh.

Sasarai is a cool dude. I wouldn't have thought I'd have liked him going by Suikoden II. He looked like a wussy dumbfag. But in this game he's fun(wee Flame Champ!)

Why do most of the antiques you can display in your castle look like shit.... :s
