What games are you currently playing?

I've just got a load more gigabytes, so I've gone back to playing... *drum roll*... MGO. This time though with better connection speed, since I can now afford it. To be honest, I can't tell much of a difference. Then again, I'm playing people from Europe generally. Lag is fucking shithouse. I haven't had much of a chance to play Australian servers since there aren't that many Aussies playing now.

omg the worst part about awesome multiplayer games is when no-one plays it anymore. >:

Vegas 2 has awesome co-op but Steam players seem to be like all on the other side of the world and it's either "here have some lagfest" or "here our matchmaking system finds you a whopping 0 suitable matches"

And with some of the stuff, I'm not surprised they spent 12 years building it. Lots of stupid shit in the game like... every toilet and sink and even soap dispensers doing something, working pinball and slot games, that kinda thing, .

And it's rather fun.

Finished LA Noire. That game was so much fun, everyone should try it.

Started InFamous 2 and this is a lot of fun too. So far, the gameplay is very similar to the first one.

InFamous 2 was an incredible game. Anybody who can play it is wasting time by reading this, because it means they aren't playing it.

Oh dear Lord, I forgot how much intro there is to this game! The anime cutscenes are worth it a hundred times over, though. And this game marries "But Thou Must" with "Video Game Cruelty Potential" so hilariously.

You see a fellow student ride his bike into a lampost and bash his shin. The game narration muses:

He seems to be in pain. You had best leave him alone.

The same student later gets kicked, in his words, "c-critical hit to the nads..." The game narration, however...

He seems to be in great pain. You had best leave him alone.

It's only when he gets stuck in a bin the next day that the game finally allows you to give him a hand. XD

I'm thinking about replaying P4 myself, since I got frustrated not being able to pick those dialogue options where you needed a required amount of courage/expression/etc.

Dead Space.

It's not as scary as it thinks it is. It's a nice linear sequence of shocks and some fantastically grotesque visual design, but there's really not much to me caring for the characters and nothing stopping me from being cynical about the whole ordeal.

It's good gameplay, though, and for $4 definitely worth my money. All the upgrades in the world and the one thing they won't let you have are better flashlights. *sigh*

The Witcher 2, finally!

Played through the Prologue last night. People went on about how absurdly difficult it is...I didn't have that much of a problem. The first battle I had to do on my own (taking the ballista), I died the first couple times. But after that I had gotten the hang of it and didn't have any trouble. Just abuse the shield spell, really

Story seems interesting so far. The dialogue choices sometimes have that Mass Effect "That-wasn't-what-I-thought-it-would-mean," from time to time, but not that big an issue.

There was a voice inside my head telling me to do it. The same voice that told me to stick my hand through the TV screen. (Which could have gone bad quickly, I must admit... O_o)
