What games are you currently playing?

I beat Psycho Mantis. He said I play a lot of Legend of Zelda. I'm going to assume he meant Resident Evil for the Gamecube, but didn't want to breach copyrights.

In ye olden days, it was based on either what was on you memory card, or just random. (If you were playing Twin Snakes, that probably explains it). He always told me I liked to play Castlevania, and that was before I actually DID start loving Castlevania.

Currently, I'm playing FFXIV. I'm up to level 22 as a conjurer, but I'm only doing story stuff so I can gain access to materia - after that it's back to the botany grind for me. I'm determined to max every class, but I want to start with the gathering and crafting classes so I can have super sweet gear. I've found, though, that raids are so much fun holy crap...except when you've got a lancer in the party who just stands there and watches as the tank and the mage deal out damage while I try and keep them alive.

Also playing Tera (as a Priest), Mass Effect 2 (Vanguard), and FFX.

Started playing RE4 and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin. Both are game I have play through many times. For some reason they keep calling me back to them. Wii version of RE4 btw.

I actually just logged on a few minutes ago so I could take a break from a game I haven't played since I was a kid; Silent Hill.

It's still kind of early in my neck of the woods, but dark. And I beat this game last night. It's still creeping me out. I just love psychological horror, this game, to me, is like a darker Donnie Darko. I really love the atmosphere and general feeling I get when I'm exploring in it, the Team Silent games were truly gems of a genre. I don't feel the other games held up to the same standards, though.

Maybe I'll look at a couple more threads, if not... It's back into Alchemilla.

edit: for some reason, I can't stop thinking about trying FFXIV, now. lol

South Park: The Stick of Truth for PS3.

I was originally playing FFXIV from Friday due to renewing my subscription and getting 90 days when I paid for 60 (thanks for the extra 30, SE! I'm a veteran according to you ). But then I was reminded last night I had SP since I got it earlier in the week. So since I started, I've been hooked. I'm not a religious fan of the series and have seen bits and pieces, but I'm in fucking love with the thing.

Let's hope I can finish it before Watch Dogs on Tuesday.

On 3ds I am enjoying Bravely Default and Monster Hunter 3.

Not sure what to play on PS3 right now. Got Tales of Xillia, FF13/13-2, and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, all sitting on my "to play" stack. Not sure which one I should start with.

I burned through all my FFXIV levequests, so I will start FFVI from the beginning again and will try to finish it before this PS3 dies on me too.

I'm going to try the 'grinding for tents' technique again to get cash early in the game.

I'm well into finishing Claire's A scenario and wasn't saving my game when Billy caught me in the elevator fight Bugger.

X-com, normal mode. Lost 50 troops and South Africa when a bunch of Crysillids attacked Cape-Town. Not the best record. Some awesome sequences though. Charlie 'Echo' Garcia v Berserker and two Sectoid Commanders. That guy ended up lasting to the endgame, with over 80 kills.

METAL GEAR SOLID: REVENGEANCE, off the steam sale. On PC, fuck yeah, . There's a very fast action scene at the start of METAL GEAR SOLID: REVENGEANCE, vs Ray IIRC, rendered at glorious 1920x1080 (somehow 1200 is not supported) without the slightest hint of frame drop. Suck on that, consoles .

On the downside, aiming / directions isn't as intuitive as on pc. METAL GEAR SOLID: REVENGEANCE's bullet time roflknief sliec sliec sliec sliec bits are highly unintuitive in terms of aiming (diagonally and shit).
