I've just had a look at the E3 trading floor, and Microsoft don't have a great deal of space reserved compared to PS3 and Nintendo. If I could unlazy I'd snipping tool and MS Paint it to diagram, but I shall instead try to use the power of the English language to describe it:
Imagine a football stadium. Sony occupy the entire of the seating on the left as well as the front left of the pitch. Nintendo occupy the entire of the seating on the right as well as the front right of the pitch. Microsoft has a square of seating behind Sony. It's literally tucked away behind everything else. It's the same size as the IGN and Gamespot booths combined, and those are small.
