Managed to find some time to play through the first storage facility mission again, now that I understand the system a little bit better.

Made it through the whole thing without killing anyone, saved the hostages, still negotiated and let the guy go and saved the hostage, and only got noticed 2-3 times. MUCH more pleased with that playthrough. The guard comments in Serif if you don't kill anyone are pretty funny.

Moving out into the real world now.

I have a question, and I'd really like a spoiler-free answer if it's possible possible: Are the endings in the game significantly different? (I don't really care how many there are, but I'm curious how drastically different they end up).

They're similar enough that all of them can reasonably lead to the shitty world that we see in the original Deus Ex. One, and a lot of the community is growing to believe this along with me, seems to be more 'canon' than the others.

Yeah I wasn't really spoiled anything tbh

At the mo I'm back in Detroit for the second time. Jensen's voice sometimes feels a little flat, but I especially enjoyed the little sidequest Pritchard gave him. Feels like the strongest voice acting done by Toufexis.

Also I'm not sure I even need the Typhoon so far, I've done the boss fights perfectly well without it

The Typhoon is less for boss battles, and more for 'clearing out a room of baddies without a scratch' with a literal button press.

I never used it until one of the final bosses. And only because that boss is a pain in the ASS. And I never used it after :/

Definitely make use of it in a later playthrough. Shit can be INCREDIBLY useful if you're not going through a particularly stealthy playthrough.

On the first mission of Deus Ex:

- Sucking at being stealthy in any game before this one
- Promising yourself that you'd be steathy
- Getting stuck at one bit, always turning enemy hostile

Stealth is much easier in Human Revolution than it was in the original imo. It's very Metal Gear, what with Jensen practically having soliton radar and X-ray vision. And later on, cloak

I was going to use the heavy rifle against bosses I needed actual ammunition for, but it takes up so much space D: Each box of ammunition is six bloody units and the gun itself is about as big as a sniper rifle or tranq rifle.

Also, my second boss battle glitched, The lady hit one of the power conduits and then got frozen on the spot stuck in the running animation, so I walked up to her and just unloaded my upgraded 10mm in the head.

Anyone have the explosive mission pack they released as extra content with the augmented version?
So far it's the only part of the game that im dissapointed with, I mean it takes literally 2 mins to do because once your at that stage of the game you have unlocked most of your augmentations anyway meaning you can literally walk in punch out a wall and wham bam your in the ductway above the cell's.

I mean COME ON!

On a high note, I just saved Faridah Malik :3 I love her character so much, which is wierd because she's quite... subdued as a supporting character. But there's this real chemistry between Malik and Jensen, and SHIPPING SENSES TINGLING when they start calling each other by pet names

I have beaten this game twice, once without killing a single person and not being detected, and another by completely raping every single belltower soldier I've come across.

Give me Deus Ex is the best difficulty and I fucking love Jensen. This is the stealth action game I wanted from MGS this generation but never got. I love this so much. If I had some money I'd buy 5 copies and give them away to all my friends/people I know.

It has a wonderful amount of flavor to the Deus Ex universe.
