i usually keep two copies of accessories and get rid of the rest
there's a pictlogica collab event going on in the japanese version and i don't think pictlogica has been localised but one of the new abilities they added ('prayer memento' named after something from pictlogica) is pretty good, casts regen on all your team.
which makes me wonder how they are going to do the events for other mobile games they've not released in english. there's been events for emperors saga and ff world wide words which haven't been localised (not sure the system for ffwww would work in english since i don't think phones have a flick-style keyboard for english). can't remember right now if there was anything specific for the ffwww collab but the emperors saga one added a bunch of new abilities that i assume are from that app.

the japanese version is running an event and it is amazing
there's four sets of dungeons from different games (iv, vii, viii, and x), and when you beat the boss battle you get items (3 types for 3 difficulty levels) that you can trade for:
- new characters
- memory crystals (break level 50 cap)
- 2nd memory crystals (break lvl 65 cap)
for the character and 1st memory crystal trades, you can also get growth eggs with the items if you've got all the characters/crystals or just wanted growth eggs instead
it looks like it includes every character available, with every crystal available and i think a few new ones too. the first two stages are easy enough (difficulty level 20 for the character one and 50 for the first crystal one), the most difficult is 110 which sounds like it'll be too much for me
also going to be a ffvii event tomorrow which adds sephiroth's second memory crystal and it sounds like reno as a character too

totally misinterpretation that event, i thought you could keep completing dungeons to get the items needed to trade for characters and crystals, but you can't since you only get those items the first time you complete them
also, before they added hp bars for enemies i thought if you used mythril to continue a battle it picked up from where you lost. i did it on one of these dungeons and instead of restarted from where i was, it restarted the battle again with the enemy getting full hp. which fucking sucks, i might use the opinion box thing and ask them to change that

i wanted to get this (with 'black materia' soul break for seph, 4 powerful long-range attacks on one enemy and a medium chance of continual damage on the target plus 10 points for the attack stat when you learn it) so i did a 11-item draw
didn't get it, got a turks suit instead

Yesterday I was finally able to beat that damn Archaeosaur on the Elite Dungeon to get Squall's Memory Crystal. That thing was a pain in the ass. I think I had to try about 20 times before I finally beat it.
Some of these Elite Dungeon bosses are way too powerful. I don't mind a challenge but good gravy...

Fighting the Archaeosaur taught me something important: Intimidate. Intimidate everything and everything will be gravy.
Also, supposedly Blind helps out a lot with Archeosaur but guess what? THERE'S NO BLIND ABILITY, SO THANKS FOR THE MOSTLY USELESS TIP, DOCTOR MOG. ...I mean, there's Blind Strike, but the chances of Blind being afflicted ain't worth the effort.

* Added a new feature so that you can pre-set parties. This makes it easier to take your favourites - or a Realm Synergy party - into a specific dungeon, and then you can switch right back to your go-to team afterwards without needless menu swapping
* New dungeons added - which will now be a twice monthly feature
* Minor rebalancing - target scores should be a little easier to optain
* New Record Materia have been added
Just completed the XII event right up to the Boss Rush (which I'm not even going to attempt). Going to run through the dungeons now and try and stock up on Mythril before the next event comes along with a must have Soul Break. Wish I could have Lunatic High for Red XIII, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get it.

I was just doing that earlier Claymore, and it's certainly one of the more intriguing boss fights.
I've got a Level 50 Tyro (I named him Typo because I'm funny like that), mid-30s for Sephiroth, Cloud, Tidus and Level 28 Squall. With the aid of always picking a strong Roaming Warrior to churn the bosses with and giving them all a nice assortment of elemental strike attacks (also gave Tidus "Pound") I have been ripping through these events like tissue paper. While long and tedious they also tend to be very fun for nostalgia, especially since I'm at the phase where they have yet to have any FF8 / FF9 dungeons in the Reams and only a couple FF7 and FFX.

I haven't touched this game in about two weeks. It was a slow withdrawal, at first, because I felt like I would miss out on events and characters if I didn't play, but then I decided that that alone isn't enough to keep me interested. I'll probably pick up the game if and when there's another big update (like showing boss HP).

Yeah that's already in the JP version, so it's something that they are just waiting to implement.
I couldn't even think about leaving this game at the moment. Even though I'm on top of all events and my characters are quite well levelled that I can finish most events in a breeze (meaning that I could just stop playing the game for a week straight at any point) I'm having too much fun collecting all the FF characters, gaining new weapons and abilities.
