......I now dream of an alternate world where Cloud can ride an engine-powered wheelchair in the G-Bike minigame. That will never happen of course because of fear that the handicapped (or their friends) will be offended.

I could see the community that modded Dissidia characters, doing something about that.... I mean, if I knew more, I'd disassemble the game, replace the motorcycle with a wheelchair with rocket boosters attached and set Cloud's default (or all) animations to sitting, and have him stare blankly ahead, firmly grasping the Buster Sword, as he barrels down Midgar's highway...



....now I really wish/want to do that....

I've been using this add-on for Firefox, however it only offers video (no audio) in 1080p. Though that's not really a problem as you can get the audio from either the 720p video or entirely separate with that add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-downloader-ps/?src=api The previous add-on I used was "DownloadHelper" and for a good while now, it hasn't been able to grab the 1080p file, just 720p

Whoa. I'm seriously loving the design. <3 (Surprised that there's not too many belts and zippers!) It's pretty interesting to see how Cloud's hair changes in Nomura's artwork over time. I'm not gonna go into a whole essay here talking about Cloud's hair and Nomura's art from FFVII to Dissidia but I am going to say that in this bit of artwork, Cloud's hair looks...manageable to draw. XD

(Shit goddamnit, seeing art of Cloud in clothes like this reminds me of how much I adored biker outfits. And then I remember that Cloud is the reason why I like motorcycles and biker clothes. Le sigh.)

Here's the full presentation for FINAL FANTASY WORLD WIDE WORDS and FINAL FANTASY VII G-BIKE.

The G-Bike section has some gameplay (22:00) showing the flow of a mission with some of the stages and enemies you can encounter. Then after more talking (34:30) they show the customization menu, where you can customize your weapon and bike. They swap out the Buster Sword for the Rune Blade and then show a different Limit Break. At the end they show the new key art illustrated by Nomura (which I personally dig).
