I'm really looking forward to an older main character protagonist (though who knows how long in the game that he's 30) in an FF game; makes me interested to see how Noctis and the rest grow as characters in ten years. I would love for them to try this out again in a future FF, having the main character around 30 years old. You almost always get a bit different person when they're 30 vs. when they're 20 :monster:

I'm imagining that it'll probably be a quick jump through time, but I would love to see some gradual progression.

Imagine exploring the same locations you did as young Noctis when he's now 30, and getting to see the ten year change in places.

Flare....you do realise, given the optional character settings in FFVII(the original game, Dirge of Cerberus and the Remake) that Vincent is the second oldest character to be played with despite his appearence? He's 60 years old despite him being immortal(well, sort off.)!

And in Lightning Returns, humanity(including Lightning herself) are like, what, 520 years old despite having eternal youth but not immortality.

^Yeah I know that :monster: There is however a difference in how one will act when they're physically immortal vs. not. Especially for Noctis, since he'll age more rapidly than others. You'll have a different outlook when aging vs. one who doesn't age.

Interesting that it takes place over the course of 10 years. Come to think of it, we know so little about the plot of FFXV.

Crazy thing is, only Snow and to a degree Hope truly grow up over the course of that series.

I know I've said this before but it's kind of funny playing my favorite games and realizing that the main characters are no longer older than me...in fact I'm almost twice their age already. :lol: So it'll be fun to have a main character who is "middle aged" (apparently) like me. :lol:

Lith, I'm not nuts about Keanu Reeves but I did notice that resemblance before and I do like it. :lol:

On the topic of clothes, anyone know if all the party members will have outfits similar to the original "Versus XIII" look (Noctis in that one leather outfit)? Or maybe that early "flashback future sequence"?

Don't worry I've got you!

But to actually answer, the first 2 minutes clothes were Noctis is in his Kings outfit and the group in Kingsglavie's. For sure that will be wearable earlier in the game no doubt. As for his original appearance in 13 Verses, maybe we've got to wait and see.

And yeah, I think the last FF wedding we saw was in XII. Cause Serah and Snow never actually got hitched. :monster:

THREE GAMES MAN, three games.
Even in the damn light novel epilogue we don't even know if they are together, it just seems like Snow is struggling by himself with some major PTSD, so frustrating.
I didn't even like that pairing that much but at least give us some resolution.

LOL yeah, I think Noel and Yeul got married ahead of them (gross, but don't get me started)

Anyway, I'm not really for Luna and Noctis getting married. I want them to just be friends. But that's just me
