The Dream Egg is a key item you can obtain during the Chocobo-Mog Festival DLC. Apparently it unlocks something in the Assassin's Festival.

^Most of that looks cool, and I love Leviathan on the front of the box (?) but the yellow background and silver words and general alarming busyness of the rest of that box is a meh for me I appreciate them trying something new but.... no.
The front of that art book however looks gorgeous <3

^^ Yeah, it's certainly different, and the bright colors are unusual for the game, but I like it, and am thinking about ordering one. Question is, do I go with collector's edition or the signed, limited edition... They aren't being released until December, so... Merry Christmas to me?

Yup. The expensive signed ones. According to the invoices, Geo got #322, and I got #459 (at least according to said order), and they did charge when purchasing it.

Just some info I gleaned from the Gaf thread the other day: They couldn't get Amano's art, Some of the Roberto Ferrari stuff is in (Some overlap with the UCE Artbook) but a lot of stuff they received didn't mke the cut for space reasons, There are some food recipes.

I've been playing the Assassin's Festival and got to the part where

you follow Loqi and then you have to chase after him whilst being attacked and when I got to the part where you run into the square and there's a magitek armor just waiting for you,

I ran into an invisible wall. All the other paths are blocked so it's obvious it wanted me to follow that path but nope. So

I thought I had to kill the magitek armor to continue but that was taking forever with the tiny bits of health I was knocking off (good news is that you can't die but you do get knocked around a bit) so

half an hour later I looked it up and found that other people are having trouble in the same area so... yeah. A little mad since I hadn't saved it for a while and will have to complete some of the side quests all over again

I finished the storyline of the Assassin's Festival last night; finished the Photography and Capture the Flag quests too. Hopefully I can get the rest of them done today.

All in all, this is a better playing experience than the Moogle Chocobo Carnival.

I ran into the same thing at first, but I got past it on the second try. The most pain in the ass part was where I had to warp to the spot right above them from behind them.
