Saw Star Trek in theaters. Great acting, brilliant special effects, refreshing comedy, but for a JJ Abrams production, I felt the plot was fairly lacking. Far too simplistic and straightforward, but perhaps I'm just too used to getting mindfucked by Lost. :monster:

7/10 overall

Plot was surprising more intricate than I expected. Also, it has some political messages, so you might like this film, Aaron.

cba making a new thread for TV episodes, so I'll just say that I watched the Lie to Me finale on Fox and it was nice to see a show on Fox that doesn't take a hard-line right-wing view on how to combat terrorism :monster:

I'm too damn lazy to go watch a movie on a work week, so I watched a dvd at home. Of all choices, I went with The Great Debators. I guess it was predictable, and I guess there were some absurd factual/anachronistic errors, but it still made me want to cry, damn it all.
