Holy shit China's divers are absolutely insanely good.
I just watched Cao Yuan score like 105-106 (and this isn't just on the prelim dives either) on a single dive. That motherfucker hit the water and barely burst a bubble like a kingfisher.

I find the diving fascinating to watch. What day was the men's freestyle acrobatics again? I'm going to have to trawl through BBC iPlayer's shit system to find it.
Also I watched the equestrian dressage 2 days ago. That's not something I would normally watch, but it was seriously amazeballs. Britain had 3 contenders, one won the bronze for a hakuna matata medley thing which was amazeballs, another guy was 4th I think with his horse dancing to VGM (assassins creed revelations trailer tune was amazeballs), and Charlotte something won the gold for team GB. Her routine had the horse pirouetting to Big Ben's bell chimes, and was awesome. Some girl from the Netherlands won silver for a black swan routine.

Well this is completely unexpected but one of our wrestlers has just secure himself at least a silver medal, the gold medal match is later today. Figures we might actually win our first gold medal in a sport we've never been good at and most people weren't paying any attention to.

Just watched the rhythmic gymnastics, Russia took gold and silver and Belarus have bronze. Fucking awesome stuff, I like stuff like that because even though I have no idea what is going on it is so visually impressive, like Cirque du Soleil. I wish I was 10 again so I could train to do that, I guess I'll just become one of those pushy mothers and live vicariously through bab

Yeah I just had a look for it and can't find it. What's so wrong with wanting to see men with perfect bodies twist and somersault and throw things and catch them I ask you. Sigh.
I did watch the men's artistic gymnastics though, was surprised to see Britain winning the bronze in that one. First time they've even been in the top 8 since the 1920's or something. China took Gold, Japan silver, no surprises there. I'm always amazeballs'ed at the floor and horse though, I mean jeepers. How can you spin yourself around like that on one hand!?

Aside from the throwing and catching thing, I've found myself staring at lots of peen this Olympics. I can't help it! Its just there! I remember one of the rowers, an American I think, seemed to be smuggling a cucumber.I need to get out more.
