Oh yes, but it's minuscule. The night sky is only referenced in one of the most important Cloud's memories, Tifa's theme for the PS4, moon earrings, Stargazer Heights and lots of references to stars thorough the game.

Early development had Aerith and Sephiroth as lovers, which brings an entire new meaning to Sephiroth stabbing Aerith from behind. This theory is not unfounded.
Their promise is made under a shooting star, a shooting star is their motif, and a shooting star is another name for a *drumroll* ...meteor!
So yeah, Cloud and Tifa is canon, their motif is even featured in the cover.
But wait! In the end, Meteor was not only stopped by Holy, but also by the lifestream where Aerith, Zack and Sephiroth reside.
Which can only mean one thing: the ending shot of meteor with holy and the lifestream is nothing but symbolism of a giant SCATZ orgy!!! The fact that Holy is there with the orgy is to signify that this is most definitely a--- wait for it---- HOLY FUCK!!!
