I'm sure when MGS5 comes out, it'll be fine (or at least its online equivalent better me. 10 days to go *sniff*). I'm not particularly worried. I think this trailer has redeeming qualities to it though, but I certainly am not interested in it. I'll probably youtube a playthrough.

MGS4 turned out to be a mismash of good ideas and some really terrible fucking game design choices and a fucking horrible story. So, I honestly cant see myself being hyped for anything else in this series.

giant loads of meh, the Ac!d games.

Peace Walker was pretty batshit but insanely fun and still grounded within the MGS3 mythos, so I soaked up about 150 hours into the game before I got bored with it. I really don't remember the last time a story-driven handheld game made me do that, let alone a Metal Gear game .

I watched the trailer again and despite the jank ass animation I really like the free running stuff, I hope there's a lot of that.

So does anyone have the HD collection? and is it any good?

I'd like to play Peace Walker on hardware that won't cripple my hands.
PSP controls are terrible.

PSP Peace Walker did great with what it had, tho

But yeah generally the HD version is excellent. It does lack the extras Substance and Subsistence had (I think), but apart from that they're all very good ports, and the control scheme for Peace Walker is extremely easy to pick up - the only real difference is with the extra control stick for aiming.
