H~o shit, I've actually been waiting for this one for forever. I rejected getting FFVIII on PSP just so I get PE1.

Never played PE2 but I got the impression I wasn't missing out.

I still want to try PE2 but I'd like to have a physical copy over a digital one, which means eBay. For the Japanese one to go with my Japanese PE1 since there's no PAL one I could play since lolz, Europe didn't matter back then.

Also I just remembered I didn't finish PE1 yet

Last year I tried playing both Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story on my PSP, and I had a really hard time getting into the battle system...does it lose something on PSP, has it not aged well, or was I just not getting it?

Vagrant Story's Battle system is strange and arcane, but very rewarding once you get the idea down. Not sure about how it'd work on PSP, though.
