Would be funnier to see their faces when they realised they did break the console. On the topic of Ps4, I don't get why people are getting excited about what's basically nothing more than an outdated gaming pc rather than an actual console. And people spending money at games they already paid for should be shot.

Don't think they've restocked here yet.

Also, just heard this about the PS4 the other day: "It's the best Netflix player I ever had!" lol.

I'm not sorry I don't have one yet, because games and stuff. When something juicy at least one of us wants to play (like UC4 or FFXV) is released we'll probably get one. And hopefully get it cheap as well.

I wouldn't mind getting one now (but I can't anyway), though I'm fine waiting until FFXIV (which I still plan to get for the PS3 when I sort my life out) and MGS5 are out.

I totally understand the position of not bothering to get one now since there really aren't that many games. I mean the free PS Plus indie games have been really fun and stuff, but I don't think I'll be moving away from my PS3 full time until this Playstation Now thing comes out and lets me play my PS3 games on it.

Having said that, I've been pleasantly surprised with all the games I've played so far. Killzone Shadow Fall for example - I have zero interest in the Killzone series but that's the game I got with the console and I'm really enjoying it. Resogun is super fun and was free, and Contrast has also been interesting.

tl;dr, there's no rush right now to get one. Rayman Legends is coming out for it this month and I'll be buying that even though I already have it on PS3, I love that game. And Infamous: Second Son and Watch Dogs are just around the corner.

Also coming this year: Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, possibly Uncharted 4 and some others I'm dying to play. So the game library will have shot up by the end of this year. I wouldn't have one now if it hadn't been a Christmas gift, so I'm glad I do :).

Are they cycling through the PS4 titles on the PSPlus subscription? That was one thing I was concerned about, if I was missing out on free stuff :sadpanda:

Well yeah they've had a few, but nothing huge or that you should be worried about missing out on. There aren't that many "amazing" games on the PS Store right now anyway tbh.

I should probably obtain Knack at some point, I love a good platformer. But I suspect it'll go free at some point in the future so I might just wait and see.

^ Nice. Add your handle to the PSN/XBL thread so we can all add you :monster:

Lastest PS4 update makes Share a little more intuitive. Best feature? You can put your recordings on a USB drive and do what you please with it.

Huge step up since before you could only upload it to facebook, which compresses it so bad. Then download it, edit it w/e and then upload it again to what ever site you want. End result being a ugly video lol.

edit:

It should be noted that Sony also owns Vegas Pro which is actually an incredibly solid video editing platform and is generally the main timeline platform a lot of editors use to keep everything in check.

If Sony pulled resources over from SVP to help make and polish Share Factory it actually could be a very intuitive piece of software for the PS4.

I can get a second hand PS4 for £250, I'm tempted to get one for Dragon Age Inquisition.

It's been a year since release, how are people's PS4s holding up?
Are they stable?
Is there a PS4 equivalent of the Xbox red-ring-of-death?

One of the big reason I chose a PS3 over the Xbox is stability, I've never had a problem with it.
