I think that Nojima was called a biased Cloti. However, apparently, he is now loved and awesome after he wrote "Case of Lifestream" -- and just why they think he's so much more awesome than before because of that, I don't quite understand. I don't understand a lot of things, actually...

The LTD is very mystical and downright magical. It has no consistency. It will always be full of holes because apparently there are just the same amount of evidence for both sides, and both supposedly make sense together in the small FFVII world.

Rabids have taught me this. You should all be the same and achieve the same enlightenment as I have.










In truth, I just don't get why there's still an LTD. But I enjoy the lulz from it, and pwning of the uncanonz.

That was in the comments of the first link you posted. Person wrote a whole long response, but that was as far as I got without snorting.

If anyone is “delusional” it’s Rowling for believing she had made Ginny Harry’s equal, just because she’s a good quidditch player and they are both fire signs alchemically. Ginny is far too underused, even in the last book, to be the hero’s match. She cannot even fulfill the role of the dutiful wife figure from Greek epic poetry, because she doesn’t figure in enough to do that.

The real meaty relationship is Harry and Hermione. Rowling scrambled in the 6th and 7th books to try to make Harry/Ginny work, but Hermione was too important a character at that point.

Why does Harry have to be paired with the meatiest supporting character? I'll be the first to admit that I like the idea of Harry/Hermione better than Ron/Hermione, but I never for a moment thought it was going there. Rowling was laying the groundwork from about the second book.

A lot of people seem to think that they know the characters better than the creators/writers do. It confuses me (by confuses, I mean it SCARES ME) a little (and by a little, I mean a lot), actually. And before this heads to another Clerith bashing session, I have a question that I don't remember being addressed before (or I probably missed it);

Cloud = warrior, Aerith = white mage, Tifa = monk

Also, white mages tend to be princesses. And warriors sometimes knights.

And don't forgot the whole Squinoa Knight and Sorceress/Lion and Princess.


...so... Doesn't Warrior + White mage = Canonz?

Just caught up on the last few posts, and once more I'm baffled at the interpretation CoT gets from Clerith fans. It's just...did they not read the story? Or the interviews? But I won't beat that horse, I think several of the responses here are sufficient in pointing out that Cloud left not because he was unhappy but because he WAS happy. Guilt's funny that way.

Also, as of the beginning of AC he'd only been gone roughly 2 weeks. It wasn't as if he'd been napping in the church for months and months. And one could speculate that he was there because he wanted to be found. I mean Tifa and Marlene DID go to the church, it's not exactly the BEST hiding spot, y'know. But that's speculative and even though it's my opinion, I like to keep things relevant to the facts presented.

So would someone PLEASE give me an example of Cloud legitimately showing/having/saying/doing anything of romantic interest in regards to Aerith. We've established that Cloud made her panties wet, yes. Where is the reciprocation? Anyone? I don't want flower field interpretation, I want facts.

My imaginary Japanese friend knows the mystical arts and has assured me that the number of times Cloud says the words "But, I..." has a direct correlation to an ancient love acronym based on the amount of syllables in text and when translated, it says "TIFA". For realz.

-Cloud gaga over Tifa when he was a kid - and failing to help her
-Cloud promising Tifa to be her knight and always save her
-Cloud wanting to be a Soldier to impress Tifa
-Cloud being ashamed to have not make it, thus hiding from Tifa when he came back to Nibelheim
-Possibility of him stealing Tifa's panties
-CloudZ changing upon meeting Tifa in Midgard, so he could look like the hero he wanted to be for her
-CloudZ giving a flower to either Marlene or Tifa
-CloudZ saving Aerith from the Turks
-CloudZ saying Tifa's his girlfriend
-CloudZ saving Tifa from Don Corneo - and having to dress as a girl for that XD Your pride, Cloud, it's gone XD
-CloudZ going on a date with either Aerith or Tifa
-CloudZ grieving for Aerith's death
-Cloud - I think it was him surfacing at that moment? Not sure, please halp XD - telling Tifa only her actions/opinions mattered to him
-Cloud calling out for Tifa in the Lifestream/opening his heart to her
-Cloud spending the last night with Tifa
-Cloud saving Tifa from falling in the Lifestream

All of these, just from the FFVII XD The bold line is probably the most important thing, because it is carved in Cloud's mind. CloudZ represent him being Zackified thanks to Jenova. The italics are upon the player's choice. I probably missed a lot of "cleriths" points, but that's what struck me when I played years ago
