Ps. as you can see I'm English and in my culture it is the norm for couples to sleep in the same bed but for the same reasons Mei and mega_sephiroth have already outlined I just didn't take it that they share the same bed because of who they are as characters rather than what you'd expect in a typical situation. Really, there isn't anything to really support Clerith. Unless people are asserting that TROO LUV trascends over death, and Aerith 'spiritually' lives on inside Cloud.

Well, 'dim' is one of the possible english translations for Honoka, but it means a different sort of dim than the way people would like to think it does, since the same kanji used in the 'dim' honoka is the root kanji of the verb which translates as 'to insinuate or suggest'. Certainly, though, there are better choices, such as 'faint'. Secret's not strictly literally accurate, but it probably causes less confusion than 'dim.'

But on topic, how is Cloud a douche? I never understood that sentiment. Everyone has made a mistake in a relationship. Does that make the person who slips up and does something wrong, automatically a douche. Context and understanding goes a long way.

That's a statement towards Tifa's own insecurity and fear regarding the relationship, not Cloud. This is Tifa's first relationship as well and we can clearly see she too has her own baggage and fears. That doesn't show he's a douche at all.

Cloud's not a douchebag to Tifa. Yes, he has hurt her in the past, but that's because he tried to do what was right. He left Tifa and the children to find a cure for Denzel, not because he was chasing after a dead girl /blunt/. In FFVII, cold and stern Cloud can be completely disregarded because he wasn't himself through that period. Where exactly does it show Cloud every being a douchebag to Tifa? And even if it comes to show that he acted like one, it's never intentional, because Cloud always has the best intentions, for Tifa, his family, and friends. Now, when it comes to the pinkers interpretation of Cloud... he's a douche bag alright.

Whilst Tifa is the jealous ho trying to get into the way of Aerith's (a.k.a. MISS PERFECT) and Cloud's relationship.

He would never hurt those he loves, and maybe he acts stupid towards Tifa (and the kids) because he's insecure and the whole thing about "having a family" is new to him, and to Tifa also.
