OK, pet peeve time: People who say that Tifa asking Cloud if he loves her means they aren't in a relationship drive me NUTS. People who believe that argument must not have ever been in a serious, long-term relationship before, is all I can figure. And considering the average age of FF7 fans that's certainly plausible.

As for Cloud being a douche ... well, he does the wrong thing on more than one occasion, but I think of a douche as someone who doesn't really care if he hurts others or not. Cloud's the opposite. He ends up doing the wrong thing BECAUSE he's so paranoid about hurting others. That and he's an emotional 16-year-old and is trying to figure out his way in this adult world with adult responsibilities.

More importantly, who the fuck CARES if they share a bed or not? There are quotes saying that they belong together, live together, raise their own family, and realize their feelings for one another. That's all that really matters.

Though I gotta say... two people who are stated to be together, raise a family, and realize their feelings- it's not farfetched at all to assume they share the same kiradamn bed. It makes a lot more sense than Cloud sleeping with the spirit of his 'eternal lover'. (And by that I mean Zack.)

Obviously you don't know the real story of FF7. It is a story of tragic figures like Tifa (who just can't take a hint) and Zack (who was a man-whore). And years of wangst over a dead soulmate by Cloud (who was nothing like Zack). And most of all about a flower girl who can know and see all. Who fell in love with Zack twice Cloud. And continues to stalk meet him after death.

I don't think what anybody here does can be called Clerith-bashing. They aren't even bashing, and they aren't just making fun of people for liking Clerith(it's more like character and plot assassinations that get made fun of).

And don't a lot of Cleriths go around acting like they are Nazi or something? I think that's where that swastika came from. It's not something Clotis invented. Cleriths themselves did that.

The Pink Nazi thing is something the CxA forum has embraced. They make jokes about Clerith Nazis and pink jackboots, etc. Or at least they used to. CBA to find out if they still do.

Actually, the Pink Jackboots club was started back in 2006, which is way before DesFailed, as far as I'm aware. I dunno though.

Bashing is all around bad. I know eye for an eye is petty, but it's bound to happen. CxA Forums have been doing it for fucking ages, to the point where no-one is going to take anything that is said there seriously. (It's a crock of shit without the bashing anyway) I don't know if you saw my question, but I was wondering if you could explain to me why you joined the Anti-Cloti Forums and participated there if you're a neutral. No offense, but the peace thing doesn't really work if you're lying.

Haha, nope. Destiny Failed has even made fun of CxA for using the user title "ClAerith Nazi of Cloti Genocide". That club still exists, and it's still posted in and it's just saddening to see. And upsetting.

Reading through the thread, the people here make fun of the lies and unfounded things that the majority of people calling themselves Cleriths claim are true.

It isn't because they think Cloud and Aerith make a nice couple that they get made fun of. It's the way they try to make their wishes a part of VII canon, and especially the lengths they go to.
