Also, Avec and I have to do Aurum Vale so we can do Ampadoor for the relic quest. Since clearly Aurum isn't being swarmed with people currently, if a tank and healer wanted to join us this weekend or something, that would be great

If you don't like the way it is, find a group who's in line with what you think and run it with them.

Yo, this was my exact same argument a while back... except it works both ways. The fundamental nature of an MMO is that farming and grinding is a nonstandard method of progression which is optimally performed by having premade groups and private parties. Developers don't create incentives like the Duty Finder to help with the daily grind, otherwise there wouldn't be diminishing returns.

A public queue is always going to be a mixed bag for anyone anyway. Just going to leave it at that.

So, you can put a bed in your private chambers, but it doesn't act as a personal inn? I can't interact with it at all.

I will be working on making those crafting tables for the house though--they are good for people under lvl 40 (increases CP temporarily)

im level 45 now so apparently i unlocked my character's weird gay porno gladiator outfit this is the top trust me u do not want to see the bottom but omg... i want to be 50 asap so I can get the armor set i want why did they think this looked cool :')))

You should go for Paladin class, it gets you cool-looking beefy armor an' shit. The BDSM gear I think is geared more towards Pugilists!

(You do need Conjurer level 15 to start training for it but once you get the class you'll probably breeze through all the Paladin quests at level 45, like I did )

I've been spending the past month crafting 99 HQ items of everything that gets shared in recipes. WHAT AM I DOING

Ye I'm an Archer/Bard so I'm waiting to get the cool ArcBard stuff that I know comes later lol. I've seen my friend's Paladin sets though and they *are* really cool.

Speaking of which, I'll get back on this game when I can be arsed. But it'll definitely be before the end of the year. Also, someone actually remind me I have an active subscription, as I've practically wasted half the time of my last one not using it.

You might want to log in to buy the earrings sold by the Itinerant Moogles for 1 gil. It was from some kind of contest held at one of the conventions. They have cactuar and DQ slime earrings. <3

I totally forgot about the 24 hour maintenance today. I couldn't play over the weekend and didn't get to water any of the plants in the garden. I hope they aren't dead! I had plants down to crossbreed some Thavnarian Onion seeds, which are used to increase your chocobos max rank and sell for like 600,000 gil. Really hoping I don't log in tomorrow to see them all dead.

So I thought I'd hang back and watch the cutscenes from Camp Westwind onward to watch the cutscenes, but didn't realize it holds everybody else up. Whoops.

So I've tried setting up a party finder a few times, but nothing yet. I'm ready for us to team up and do that story run we were talking about.

I'd like to do it before I get into the extreme primals, because I really don't know how the story gets there. But I have been unlocking them in my spare time, so I'm good for teaming up for those too.

But the main thing is I'm focusing on tomestones now-- the Hunts are too random for me to grind. So in the time we can't group I'll be finishing off my LNC and MDR for a decent MNK/LNC/MDR setup.

But I think my crafting's getting waaaaay to slow to grind in the late 40s and I'm reduced to buying some market place items, and dumping whatever I can make for the Grand Company daily. My main objective now is the dungeons.

Yes it is. Oh and my plants were indeed dead when I logged in yesterday. So if a certain Kalm Traveler/Turk could rip out the dead ones when you get a chance that would be great. I replanted three new ones yesterday.

Well, I think they only announced the release date a couple of weekends ago (weekend of Oct. 18), so there wasn't much of a notice. I tanked the three new dungeons last night. They were pretty fun. The new tome gear looks pretty cool, too.

I only have one day left on this event, and I think they put 12 hr caps on how many credits you can get to spend. I really wanted to plaster the house. ;_;

Also I'm almost at a million gil, after only a week (without really trying)-- so technically a few rounds of crafted items. Mansions are 20-29 million gil at the start. I think I should go for it when the time comes. This is going to be easy.

Also, finally unlocked Ninja last night. Among other things I am absolutely loving the fact that all my jumps are somersaults now. Super agile, I am.

Halp, I'm completely crippled from indecisiveness.

After unlocking NIN I'm at a bit of an impasse as to what to spend my time doing next. I've managed to narrow it down to three things I would equally enjoy:

1- Continue levelling Ninja to 50 and make that my primary DPS class, throwing Summoner onto the backburner.

B) Properly start work on gearing my Scholar. I'm a little out of touch with the endgame content. The only thing previously stopping me from doing this is not knowing what dungeons/raids/tomes to farm and when to stop.

iii. Continue gearing with Fisher. Bringing my ilvl up on FSH would allow me to go catch bigger stuff and make more gil. I don't usually like raiding alone do Fishing is good for while the FC isn't incredibly active.


Help me TLS, you're my only hope.

I haven't played the latest patch so I can only speak from my experience doing the other stuff previously.

I farmed myth tomes with my DRG for when my WAR hits 50 (all iLvl 90 gear) and ST drops iLvl 100 gear, then there's the old soldiery farm for 100 stuff but that system might have been dropped now idk.

I farmed hunts for seals which gets you the 90/100 gear super quick (5 hours in a hunt group, full set of 90 gear plus oil and sands of time to upgrade the soldiery gear).

This may all have changed now, I haven't played in quite a while. I know I had a bunch of iLvl 110 gear. Playing this will at least give me something to do when I get out of the hospital.
