I'm completely fine with people not realizing it at first because I'm at the front desk looking like a secretary, but pisses me off when they won't take me seriously after I correct them. Actually had this exact exchange with a customer once, he was the most obvious about it. My boss came out of the back and said, "I'm busy, talk to her or get out."

It's so fucking annoying. I used to like her, and I'll admit that her songs are pretty catchy, but no, she's not a fucking legend yet. Releasing at least fifteen albums and having them hit multi-platinum like the Beatles or Elton John and being considered a legacy is being a legend. Lady Gaga has what, four hit releases and she's automatically some sex goddess that everyone has to bow down to?

Not to mention the fact how people overract on how ~gorgeous~ she is, because honestly, no, she isn't. She looks like the unborn child of Marylin Monroe and some girl he hooked up with, and not to mention she looks so great in magazine covers because it's all Photoshop. She has a good voice, but she has absolutley no taste, and the fact that her little party of fangirls will jump at you the moment you say that you don't like her is extremely disturbing and fucking irritating. No, I would not 'hit' her, nor will I ever consider her to be an idol to other people, because she does fucking gross stuff in her concerts, and people letting that slide just shows how brainwashed these little girls have become. Rubbing your crotch is not a good influence on little girls, so STFU about how she's perfect and an angel sent from heaven.

And another thing; ONTD pisses me off because they let crazy shit that Lady Gaga does slide, but when it comes to other celebrities, it's horrible!!!!1111

Oh, I like her music alright, but I wouldn't call it new, original, or something to be worshiped. Bad Romance is my happy crack. I agree that her songs are catchy and nice to listen to, especially when you're working out, but she is way over-rated. I don't think she's ugly, but I don't think she's drop dead gorgeous. She kind of reminds me of a retarded version of Cher, lol. Even her voice reminds me of a weird sounding Cher sometimes. Um, her sense of 'style' is so unique to so many people, but I don't see how. She wears some weird ass stuff, but I don't call it unique, I call that ugly. Her outfits are kind of painful to look at. I was really expecting better from her during the grammys but no, that was a complete fail imo.

This is a throwaway society, very hard for pop stars to hang around long (fortunately). I certainly don't see her as a successor to Madonna and be around for 30 years, since it simply won't happen. From what I've seen of her pre-fame, and what she is like now, she seems incredibly fake.

Though for me tanks in general on expert mode when you're playing single player. I'd have beaten all the campaigns by now if it weren't for them. Stupid "teammates" are fantastic except when they run towards the tank and get themselves incapped.

If you enjoy writing, you should try getting into (or at least check out) the RP on this forum. It's actually really good and I know that more than a few of the people writing in it do it to help themselves improve at creative writing in general.

Felt this all day today.

Then my Xbox decided it didn't want to work anymore and lost the will to boot up past the 360 logo. Oh, but no hard drive means no signal/video.

EDIT: Forgot the golden rule of electronics. Threaten to replace it, and it'll start working again, better than before. Not only is it working flawlessly, the issues it had prior to last night (memory card slots and back usb were having issues) are working perfectly now.

OK, one of my friends on this site repeatedly recommended FFXII to me. I eventually got it. While browsing through some of the older threads, I notice she made one post saying she didn't like FFXII and found it confusing.
