Two things:

My brother might be coming down and spending a couple nights here. I don't want this and if he does come down (which he might not since he's so unreliable) I might see if I can find a friend's couch to crash on. All my personal belongings of value will be coming with me or carefully hidden since he's stolen from me/the family twice and I don't want to come home and find that my laptop/stereo/whatever is missing.

And, a bunch of RL friends are being dramatic and stupid and trying to draw me into it. I don't need this right now.

Anyway my fml moment is a funny one.
Got a call logged when i came into work this morning asking to check a fault with someones computer, so i asked them their service tag and remote logged on to their pc.
Next thing i head down the line is a cry of surprise stating "Oh fuck my mouse is moving by itself" the guy didnt understand that when i told him i would remote control his pc and check the fault that i meant i would actually remote his pc *facepalm*
So i open up all his tabs down the bottom and find 3 sex chat websites and 2 porn streaming websites. all mixed inbetween spreadsheets and a few programmes to make it seem like he is actually working.
I end up telling him that i have logged the misues of the pc and will be notifying his line manager and he goes off on a tangent screaming im not doing my job by not telling him why his pc isnt working and how i have no right to invade his privacy.
So i remained calm (iknowright) and explained i have every right to check his pc while at work and then asked what exactly isnt working, he actually called to find out why one of the porn sites wouldnt load for him >.<

So the pissed off part now comes around when i get my manager down at me telling me the guy called her and stated i invaded his privacy and was threatening to sue my in regards to breach of privacy.
Now take in mind this is my manager and as a result she should know the rules regarding our job, our code of ethics states that my department can check for misues on any council property if we have due cause and every member of the council nees to sign this waiver to agree to it before getting their job and also sign to declare the right for us to remote their comps.

My boss now just walked away with one word as her response for chewing me out "Oh"

Agreed. When you are not only using their computers and their internet service, but also their time they are paying you for, they have a right to know how you're using it and tell you what you can and can't do with it.
