The sink is not a garbage. Or for that matter, the recycling either. No, I'm not being lazy when I refuse to do the dishes. I just refuse to sort through garbage while I'm doing it. The garbage is right below the sink, and the recycling is right outside the back door... a few steps away. If either of these things are full, that means you should take them out, not resort to the sink.
