Is pissed the fuck off because apparantly my computer could be 'sped up' if my dad got rid of temporary files. He has permanently deleted 8 months and 5gb of Skype recordings that I had saved.
No idea how annoyed I am.

EDIT: Scratch that. The majority of the files had been moved somehow to another folder, all apart from the most recent archive, mostly consisting of late november/december, unless that got lost somewhere else. Phew.

Being stuck at work on a saturday when there is fuck all work to actually do, and my only semblance of hope to tackle the boredom is reading this forum and doing some OVA work for dessie's.
Now i come in to find out that the Dessie discussion thread is blocked by my works firewall under two catagories "Pornographic or adult material" + "Innapropriate and Illicit content" FFS it's an rp discussion thread, I never thought my work would develop such a large stick up their arses that they would ban fiotis from the workplace.

When I left for work this morning, there were six fire trucks, three ambulances, and two police cars at my apartments. I saw a rather unsettling yellowish glow (it is overcast and rather dreary out today), and this was all far too close to my apartment for my liking.

Why the hell do people make vinyl rips at 192 kHz? That's way, way more audio quality than anyone can ever possibly need, even on the best sound system - even 96 kHz rips are probably ridiculous overkill since human hearing generally only goes up to around 20 kHz and you're supposed to need a sample rate of only about double the limit of human hearing to approximate the range of audible sounds, but at least they're still a tolerable size. 192 kHz is just absurd. If you want to go above the standard 96/24 sample rate for vinyl rips encode as .wavpack at 32-bit; audible dynamic range from there can likely still be improved upon.
