We'll be making our own characters, and even in a good or bad group we can create (possibly) almost any kind of alignment for our character as long as they have a good reason for being in the team they're in (if it doesn't normally align with them, say).

Also I know what you mean, I usually make my character a good person in general so But I like to write some questionable characters so....

Team alignment is a tricky question for me. My character is Neutral Chaotic, so that fits in nice with either side, but considering the back story I have in mind for him, I'd find it hard to defend his motivations if the bad stuff the DMs have in mind are too ridiculously evil. But I could fudge something, so I will side with my other teammates on the evil vote.

OOOOH okay, I was confused because in the two sessions I've ever played for DnD, I was always given a premade character sheet to fit the narrative of whatever the DM came up with??

I said it's a first-come, first-serve basis. So whichever team has all it's members vote first, and whatever the majority is for that team vote, is the team that'll get what they voted for. Lemme explain better if that sounds confusing!


Right now the votes are as follows:

Darth's team:
Crash: Evil
Minato: Evil
Flint: Good
Airling: Evil
Carlie: Hasn't voted

Joe's team:
Fancy: Good
Flare: Evil (but not really fussed lol)
Kimble: Hasn't voted (Why the fuck not, you took time to post but didn't vote?! )
Ite: Hasn't voted
Channy: hasn't voted

So basically if Carlie votes evil before the other three in Joe's team do, then Darth's team gets the evil alignment and that's that. Since their team decided first and majority will settle the decision.

I suppose if people have issue with that, we can, as Darth said, roll the dice.

Wednesday 4th October (next week). Preliminary character creation session. 9pm-1am GMT. (If you need to know when that is your time, click here)
Discord is the place to be. A new DnD voice and text channel will be up on the TLS discord.

You won't need to be on for the full four hours but try to get on for at least an hour, preferably more if you're a new player. I'll try to give everyone a quick introduction to Roll20 (the site we will be using for our sessions) and help walk you through creating your character.
You won't have to have finished making your character by the end of Wednesday, but you'll be able to finish doing it confidently in your own time. This allows people that time on their own to come up with your backstory and all that. As simple or as complex as you make them.

If you can't make it for whatever reason, please let me know.
