Zelda: Link Between Worlds. One thing I really love about this game is how well the 3D was done and how it enhances the actual gameplay. A couple months ago I struck gold and found a listing for a refurbished

with a one year warranty on Nintendo's website for only $150 so I basically decided that if I was gonna get a 3DS it would be then. I really love the system (powerful hardware isn't everything. Actually I couldn't care less about hardware); it has quality games and that's what I'll be using aside from PC this generation because I quit TV console gaming.

Super Metroid. I'm attempting to do a 100% run in under three hours, but I probably won't succeed because I forgot how to get to some of the items. I'll likely replay the game again after this.

Technically I'm still in the middle of a Kingdom Hearts II HD playthrough that got interrupted by my χmas vacation.

Then I got a Wii U so I'm now alternating between Super Mario 3D World and Bayonetta.
Good times.

Been playing the Eye of the Beholder trilogy. Have fond memories of playing the first one as a child. Can only get so far into them though because archive.org's in-browser emulator doesn't save the game to your computer, and its difficult to complete, even in a day's sitting :P. There's a lot to love about those games, imo. Glad the indie game, Legend of Grimrock, has revived the dungeon crawling genre too. Watching playthroughs of that and its sequel, atm.

Lately I've been playing far too much Civ V. I have three separate multiplayer games going (well, actually, one of them ended last night when Ghandi got a cultural victory), and every time I finish a game I've been playing by myself, I start up a new one immediately. I think I have a problem.

Yeah...the problem is that you're typing here instead of playing more Civ :oscar:

I've been playing as Casimir recently, going for a culture victory. But Napoleon's so far ahead of me tech wise I doubt I'll get there in time. He caught me spying on him and he's gone from neutral to guarded, s'only a matter of time before he declares war I reckon, his military's smaller than mine, but he has better units.

I also briefly went to war with Shanghai because they kept attacking my city state allies, and then they asked for peace and gave me one of their cities, but it ended up backfiring on me big time. Happiness plummeted and I've been having rebels pop up every few turns ever since =/

Would kill to play Super Mario 3D World, it looks amazing. I've watched playthroughs on YouTube but that's never the same. It seems like it combines everything good about SMB3 with everything good about SM64 and beyond XD.

Collected 99% of items in 3:25. Not sure which one I missed. On the plus side, I saved the animals this time.

I'll probably try another playthrough this weekend or something, but I should catch up with schoolwork first.

I also have this addiction (as you may have noticed from my posts in the Civ thread). When are you guys going to play with me? :aah:

Play together and stream it! I think I played Civ IV once upon a time but I don't remember much of it.

That's an option, though Civ isn't exactly high on the list of watchable games when it comes to streaming. :) I'd like to try an epic demogame (democracy game) sometime though if I could find enough people willing to commit to it. It would probably take a year. :P

I'm playing Assassin's Creed for the first time after seeing B play it at the in-laws. The controls still feel rather awkward to me, and I find myself berating Altair frequently at moments when I know I didn't confuse my controls, and he jumps to his death... But that has it's own entertainment value since it just caused him to land on a Templar in Damascus, and B has warned me that without Counter I am not yet in a position to beat them.

I am playing Last Story on the Wii U, but I'm finding it pretty frustrating because I haven't used Wii controllers in years and I'm clumsy like a noob. When I run around town I can (and do, because I'm the awkward squad) run into NPCs, and they all shout and curse me when I bump into them.

Anyone who has the patience to get through the first game has my total respect. Keep at it, though. It may seem repetitive, but it does pick up storywise and the second is truly one of the best games out there.

I kind of enjoy that repetitiveness. It's soothing, like doing missions in Crisis Core. And then it's laced with moments of mirth at Altair's expense. It gets frustrating when I'm running for my life and he jumps in the opposite direction though.

Moved on to Bayonetta 2.

The combat in this is so darn good. Bayo 1 was already orgasmic but this is ever so slightly better. Really diggin the more vibrant color palette in this one, too.

Fuckin Bayonetta. Nintendo better fund the shit out of a third one as well.

With Dragon Age: Inquisition done, I returned to my Insanity run of Mass Effect 3 last night. I died a couple of times, although I didn't remember what I threw myself into in the first place. Forgot the buttons momentarily, but picked myself back up and now got my head in the game. The banter between Liara, Garrus and Wrex on a particular mission got me laughing and made me realise how much I fucking hate this game I've missed this game. :awesome:

Just finished The Last Of Us Remastered. The game is freaking awesome. I have no words. Just beautiful from start to finish.
