It's very frustrating, but can be adjusted to. I guess if I played more skate games it would be easier because the ramps are the worst thing about this game, and that's where all the spray cans are placed.

Completed Saints Row 2 (occasionally frustrating, mostly just insanely fun), on to Final Fantasy XII. Not very fair into it, surprised how tough it is and I don't like Vaan very much - it's not that he's a bad character, exactly, it's just that following him leaves me with the feeling that I'm being distracted from the main plot. He feels to me like a side quest character. Other than that, I'm enjoying the vastness of the world and the story at least feels very big, if not quite so engaging.

3DS- KH3D. On Tron world atm.

PC- Arkham City (just finished all the augmented reality challenges). Metro 2033.

PS3- Dark Soul (new game plus and then some), Deadrising 2 Off the record.

Gamecube- Wind Waker, finally.

Resently I finished Darksiders 2 (pc). While I like the first game and its gameplay style better, Death is a far more interesting protagonist than War. As Death is very sarcastic and cracks jokes, where as War just got pissed off a lot.

So I just spent months leveling up the lancers in valkyria 2, and the game won't give me Largo like it was supposed to. What gives?

EDIT: Closest answer I can find online seems to be to just keep playing new missions. Hope so, fearing a glitch because I was in a weird part of story-mode.

I've only played a little bit of 2, but aren't the character unlocks all quite random? I remember having Vyse and Aika from the get-go in 1 and then on another playthrough I had to keep coming back after missions to get them to appear.

War of the Lions just threw 13 monks at me all at once

... that was strange.

I miss the days of Pokémon Gold. When I had it and there were a semi-catchable number of Pokémon :monster:

Semi-catchable? Out of the 649 currently available I have 597. That leaves only 52 I don't have recorded in my National Dex, sounds semi-caught to me :awesome:

You have them in one game? Can you get them all in one game? Why don't you have the rest? Genuinely curious :monster:

That's a single game's national dex entries, yes, specifically its my Black 2 National Pokedex. I did just notice I apparently remembered the number wrong, I'd have sworn it was 597 when its actually 536  The 597 was actually my Black 1 Dex, but I rarely use that one for anything anymore. Either way, its still a lot, even if not quite as good as I thought. I did not catch them all in one game though, that total represents catches and trades made in Johto (Soul Silver), Sinnoh (Platnium), and Unova (Black and Black 2).

Of the 52 113 I am missing, some are event only and I missed/couldn't do the event/it hasn't been given out yet (I think this is just Meloetta and Keldeo at this point), some are simply difficult to find/catch in any of the games I have access to, and some are available but I haven't gotten around to getting them yet. At least a couple are pre-evolutions/evolutions of Pokemon I DO have, and so if I did a bit of breeding/training I could get those in the dex (for instance, I have yet to turn my Elektrik into Elektross even though I have a Thunderstone lying around). And the main reason my Black 2 is lower than my Black 1, I didn't retrain a lot of the Pokemon from one game to the other, I just traded them from one game card to the other. So I'm missing baby and middle evolutions for a lot of those entries (or just middle in the case of the starters since I've bred every single one to make babies for people).

Oh, and the number will very soon go down from 52 to 46 113 to 107, as soon as Clicky beats Red in Soul Silver and thus gets Squirtel and Mudkip so she can breed me a couple of my own to hatch and evolve and thus complete my pre-Gen VI starter collection :awesome:

TL;DR: I got them by playing Pokemon. A lot.

OK I've just completed Sleeping Dogs and now I don't understand the hate it's been getting from some places.

What a refreshing experience! I loved it. Parallels between it and GTA are inevitable, but it's actually nothing like GTA at all when you start playing it properly. Movement isn't like walking through water, the martial arts in place of gunplay (there is some gunplay, they're just usually mission specific (though you can find them in various random places, like in the back of a police car)) since China's gun laws are a lot stricter and it's set in Hong Kong.

And the setting, I love it. It's really brought to life. Street vendors shouting things like "WHY DUN YU HAF A PORK BUN IN YU HAN!". The main character is well written. So is the story. My only complaint in this area would be the "love interests" which amount to meeting various girls (5 across the whole game) on various missions, getting their numbers, calling them, going on one "date" (the main character is an undercover cop who's working his way up in the Triad, so he has to "play the part" of a gangster), having implied sex and then never seeing them again. Some variety would have been nice here.

The game is just fun to play. I'm speaking as someone who loved GTA 3 and Vice City back in the day but found it hard to get into San Andreas because it just took too long to get anywhere. And I've never completed IV, even though I have it. Might have to do that soon now I've finished this and getting back into the Sandbox swing of things. But damn, that Rockstar movement speed just annoys me so much.

So yeah, Sleeping Dogs is an awesome game. The story has a few great twists I wasn't expecting. It's still free on PS Plus for anyone who's interested. I'm going to get the platinum trophy, just got a few more random trophies to get.

EDIT: Oh yeah general movement is quite fun, because you can sprint and run over things and tackle people and when you're driving (which is also awesome) you can "action hijack" other cars, it's so win to do that.

I tried Ni No Kuni but I really don't like it. It's okay for what it is, I guess, but it doesn't feel right, I guess I'm trying to say.

I finished Bioshock Infinite recently. Love it!
