Yeah, I'm wondering why Impulse hasn't mentioned that the Blue Beetle in the future doesn't PHYSICALLY look anything like Jamie. Either way, I'm really curious how Megan's gonna deal with what she did to Kaldur, and when she's gonna come clean about it. I'm also wondering what her and Connor are gonna chat about.

Additionally, is anyone worried that because of Megan's attack, Kaldur will lose his knowledge about being a double agent, and just adapt to actually filling the role he finds himself in, with Artemis being the only possible thing to try to help him?

That probably because it is representative of how Jaime being transformed into an evil vanguard would change him. Evil future versions of characters often look dramatically different in fiction.
And scarab (in comics) has the ability to transform Jaime and the suit into a more bulky form. It is often used when Jaime loses control of himself and/or the scarab.

That is what I think will happen to Kaldur too, especially when looking at the narrative as a whole, since it's unlikely Kaldur is going to be benched/coma'd for the rest of the season or have him wake up with no damage (since that would make M'gann attack pointless in terms of consequences for Kaldur).

Sportsmaster going after Black Manta? Yes please. Can't friggin wait for tomorrow.

Yeah looks awesome as well.

the young justice tag on tumblr is kinda hilarious right now, its revealing how many people either are not listening to the dialogue or have poor sentence comprehension. A significant portion of people apparently think that Vandal Savage saying "the death of Kaldur'ahm is a nonstarter" means that Kaldur is already dead, when it means the exact opposite and is referring to the denial of Sportsmaster's demands.

• Deadshot is in, making Sports master and Cheshire a rogue force.
• Kaldur is gonna be reconstructed by Psimon, and his double agent status will get blown in the process, possibly risking Artemis.
• Green Beetle?!
• Arsenal is in an a bit of a loose cannon. :awesome:
• Tye & Static are looking at being made into an anti-YJ team.

Damn, things're getting intense…

I really love this show, things are getting really interesting. The only complaint I have is that the focus is overwhelmingly on the boys side, they need to balance that out more.

Actually that was Deathstroke (aka Slade) not Deadshot.

I am betting the episode dedicated to Psimon going through Kaldur's mind is one where the clips of Tula/Aquagirl are going to be from. I wonder if Psimon is actually going to report Kaldur's double agent (presuming he does discover that info) to The Light or if he'll keep that info to himself?

I liked that Green Beetle/B'arzz O'oomm was named after the martian word for Mars in the "Princess of Mars" series, Barsoom.

Anyways great episode this week, the interaction between Robin and Arsenal was pretty fun. And it was cool watching the schism between Sportsmaster and The Light happen. Black Manta's more fatherly side was cool to see as well.

Thanks for the correction there. Additionally, I thought that he was named after Barsoom, but I'm glad I was right. Speaking of which, B'arzz O'oomm's powers are CRAZY awesome. I really hope that next week covers Psimon and Kaldur.

This week's previews for Young Justice and Green Lantern (+DC Nation shorts)

Youtube versions for people who don't like the QuickTime Player format

Green Lantern:http://www.blogofoa.com/2013/01/preview-for-green-lantern-animated_23.html

Looks pretty awesome, though I may be a little wary of getting too much nude Zilius Zox:P

Looks like Artemis maybe trying to capture Miss Martian to have her replace Psimon (through shape shifting) and heal him without blowing their cover? Or perhaps Black Manta ordered her and Deathstroke to capture M'gann so he can personally have vengeance and Artemis will try to co-opt that plan to her advantage? I also wonder if this episode will the one to have the Tula/Aquagirl flashbacks since Artemis' "how did it all go so wrong so fast?" seems like it could segueway to a flashback.
Of course a worse case scenario (besides Kaldur and Artemis being exposed and killed) would that Psimon finds out about the double-agent scheme immediately and brainwashes both Artemis and Kaldur into being villains.

Ha, is it ironic to say that not as much bad stuff happened in this episode as I thought it would?

Anyways great episode nice comedic moments with Green Beetle and some really good character introspection this episode.

M'gann is obviously extremely traumatized to the point of having a death wish (as indicated when she was inside Kaldur's mind). But is slowly recovering.

As for Superboy his character has really matured for the better. He could of totally freaked out in front of Lagoon Boy but he calmed him down and then gave Nightwing a stern talking in private (although I was slightly confused because IMO it is not that clear whether he was aware of the Kaldur catatonia and deep cover aspect of the plot or just Kaldur being catatonic and not being a double agent until now.).

So, I was watching the Teen Titans film today, which reminded me of this clip:

I wonder if we'll be seeing Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire show up in Young Justice anytime soon.

I think that Cyborg profile is modified from his appearance in Justice League: Doom, so I don't think he'll appear in Young Justice. The profiles are more for characters that DC wants to increase public awareness for. Animal Man had one too.

Oh c'mon is not their fault, is not like cartoons are supposed to be the focus of their network, oh wait. And here I was starting to think that CN was decent again after bringing back Toonami, silly me.

I think that Toonami is actually completely a product of [adult swim] now, and that [as] has some level of autonomy from CN, because they had to work for a little bit to be able to air Thundercats & Sym-Bionic Titan, even though they were both former CN shows.

Really, aside from Adventure Time & Regular Show now, I have nothing that I enjoy that they show anymore.

This episode was pretty cool. Really liked how they handled Static and the other ethnic superfriends homage characters (in that they were very well written characters and not defined by their ethnicities but they weren't ignored either). This episode also definitely felt like a transitionary episode like the end of the 2 act of season/beginning of the 3rd act. The reveal at the end definitely amped up the tension. Interesting to note if one pays attention to the time stamps that it has been over a month show time wise since the last episode (The Fix ended on April 9, Runaways began on May 13) meaning Jaime's been "on the mode" for quite sometime (and probably to establish in episode 16 (Complications) how long M'gann's been working on Kaldur).
