I feel you may not have committed the same amount of emotional energy to imagining Tseng as I have done, Tets.
His chin and jaw look too soft and feminine and overall he doesn't look old enough. I was hoping for more in the way of bone structure in the face. Basically he just doesn't look virile enough.
Anyone else ever noticed how ridiculously long everyone's legs are?Probably a birthmark. It is in the original concept art, just for the record, but EM's right in that you can't see it on his FF7 model.
I will say his jawline in the remake seems to match this art pretty well. But I suppose the broader shoulders here help.
I'd like to think that too, but Tifa has a huge Texas sign in her bar, Don's place is decorated with some ancient Chinese dragons, and isn't Yuffie Shinto? It is what it is I suppose.Well, seeing as it's a fictional universe, I wouldn't be too hasty to attach any kind of meaning to it, religious or otherwise. It could just be a birthmark. Or a tattoo. Or whatever.
Where you see this? The "dot" on Tsengs head is described as Tilak or Tilaka, in Hinduism it's worn on a daily basis or for rites of passage or special religious occasions only, depending on regional customs.
Strange... I always thought Tseng is Wutainese, but on his wiki page is nothing written that hints about his origins... all those years... I remembered it wrong... IT CAN'T BE!!!!!
You can find that on his profile page under appearance at FFWiki:Where you see this?
Tseng dons the classic, dark blue Turk attire in Final Fantasy VII, and wears a similar, but black suit in the rest of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. He has dark brown eyes and shoulder-length, black hair occasionally tied in a ponytail. He has a tilak in the middle of his forehead.
I might be better now that I've grown, but my best friend in grade school was Indian and whenever I ate there I had to have the special white kid's plate made. I get the gurgles just thinking about it.I have never had that reaction to Indian food. Just saying.
I would too. I usually find journals and books in RPG's tedious and skip over them, but something tells me I will be squeezing every last drop of story out of this rotting pizza.I would love backstory myself, provided that its optional.
