Makes me wonder how old they'll depict Tseng in Aerith's flashbacks to her childhood. I always guesstimated Tseng was like 5-6 years older than Aerith.

Aeris was like 7 when Tseng came to find her in the slums, and tried to talk her into coming to Shinra. There's nothing to indicate he's super young (i.e. 12), so I'm going with the assumption that he was at least 18 or so. Meaning that during the main story of the OG, he was in at least his early/mid 30's, as Aeris was 22.

Tseng likes younger girls...that can talk to the planet.

She was at least 7, but she could have been older than that. She was 7 when Elmyra found her, but Tseng seems to come some time later. "A lot had happened, but we were happy, until one day..." And Tseng saying, "We've been searching for Aerith for a long time..." She might have been more like 10.

I looked it up and "fire in the hole" is an actual real-life saying, from mining, apparently, meaning you've stuck the dynamite in the hole and it's gonna explode. I hope it's a mistranslation, that would be so true to the spirit of the game.
