Double Growth
I'm struggling to decide if I want to go with Lenna or Vanille myself. I know Vanille is more versatile, but til now I've only been using White Mage who isn't versatile at all and it hasn't been much of a problem...

but as it is, the higher level parts of the game seem off limits to anyone who doesn't have the good, rare equipment. i've found that the default special attacks (soul breaks?) are kind of shit, especially the ones that are just physical attacks, but the ones you get from 5 star weapons are actually useful (lots of damage, status effects). the newer attacks for cloud and squall are ridiculous, but getting those requires either luck or deep pockets and a willingness to empty those pockets.
You spelt Rpaming Wqrrior wrong:Roaming Warriors / Friends
Assign a character to be your Roaming Warrior, who you can send randomly to other people's games. You can equip this RW with any equipment you like (without effecting your usual setup). Your RW can be activated by a player in batttle and this will utilise their Soul Break. (Very cool and handy, especially with those that have the special Soul Breaks).
SNIP
P.S. My friend code is 9CNa. My RW is currently Lenna since I think she has one of the most useful Soul Breaks and because I'm sure there are already a million Clouds and Sephiroths out there.
