World is called Valisthea, some beautiful artworks featured in the website.
Theory time: Clive is Ifrit's dominant, and without knowing the summon took control of him.. He killed his brother.

I actually like Clive’s name, aha. And those paintings feel so much more imaginative than my first impressions. They’re gorgeous!
