But trying to equate a third person restricted text as some type of factual, omniscient declaration of fact beyond the scope of the narrator is fallacious. Aerith's speaking from her point of view, because the entire story is her point of view. This isn't narrated by a third person removed, and neutral narrator who knows all facts of the story. This is Aerith's POV. This doesn't say anything about Cloud's feelings on the matter. The story is all about Aerith.

It's limited to her thoughts and actions. Never anybody else's. Take a creative writing class and maybe you'll learn something. No one needs to say it because its common writing sense.

Do you think there is, honestly, anyone else that Tifa can be kobito. Seriously. It doesn't take any level of reading and literature comprehension to know that it was referring to Cloud and Tifa. And that their relationship has always been loaded with romantic tension. Even if you believe CloudAerith is canon, which to be honest doesn't really seem that far off to me like it does to some people, there's absolutely no other person that Tifa can be referred to as the lover of.

The arguement over the semantics is ridiculous and diversionary. Tifa and Cloud have a relationship that not only symbolizes but parallels a married coupling.

Referring to self is first person. All the novels were written third person restrictive. Not third person omniscient. Not just Aerith's. The POV was Aerith's and Aerith's only.

Yes I do. two actually. Rude of the turks whom in FFVII admitted he had feeling for her, as he did for another AVALANCHE girl. And then theres Jhonny Who opens a bar in dedication to Tifa's and had a sort of relationship with Denzel long before Cloud. I don't see Clouds Affection for Tifa at all more than a Sister.
