...and I'm arguing the point that she used a power after she died. Or rather arguing the possiblity that it happened.
Power is an obscure word so I can't understand how my view it could be "weird".
And if she didn't do it alone, who did she do it all with?
And if didn't do it all alone, and someone was there to help her, perhaps they could have helped her shield Cloud.
It's all called a "theory".
LOL theories.
Theories are good. I think the questioning of yours stems from Aerith extending an overt power that we've NOT seen her do. I'm not saying intervention by Aerith didn't happen, because the conversation in the white space says clearly she intercepted Cloud... somewhere between life and death, which is why--for me--it makes more sense that he was very nearly dead, because Aerith remains in the lifestream. The healing rain is laced with lifestream...not anything OF Aerith; yes she commands it, but she didn't create it. As Cetra, she exerts will over the Lifestream, so it would make logical--and remaining with what we've been shown as evidence of her power--sense that she could intervene there.
My 2 cents anyway.
Or she just used a phoenix down on him. "At least I remember I have one when you die Cloud".

I don't think I said she created the power, but rather had a power, which could be simply her using a power that's present. And since she shows other powers, and no explaination is given as to why Cloud survived the blast, considering that Aerith had something to do with it isn't too farfetched.
And really, no one can roffle at theories when this entire thread is deovted to "what do you think".
Dude. He was teleported. That's all. The Reunion Files pretty much say he "appeared" at the Church. There's nothing else to it.
He's like a ping pong ball.
I'm only half reading this discussion I admit, but if MILF's theory is that Aerith had something to do with Cloud appearing in the church I'd have to agree. She told everyone to go wait for him there, after all. It's the only evidence we have to go on.
Oh absolutely. If he wasn't dead in the white space then he was only mostly dead. That's what I think too. But I don't know about a force field though. Cloud ate that blast with a spoon.
Because he's white and likes to get paddled?
"ZACK!!!"
And I repeat...teleportated by whom?
Honestly is my theory so farfetched when nothing else of any real substance has been presented? Isn't that debate works? That one person presents a theory, backs it up with some evidence and then the other person presents their theory, backed up with evidence?
I refuse to refute the possiblity of my theory until someone presents either a definite answer or at least a better possiblity.
Oh absolutely. If he wasn't dead in the white space then he was only mostly dead.
