I just saw an essay on the pinker forum. Apparently Aerith was just entrusting Cloud to Tifa until she could return (in AC). Because she now lives inside Cloud.

See it all makes sense. I finally understand pinker logic!

Well..it is from last year. And they could have changed their stance multiple times since then. In fact the entire koi.....bito section would have to be ignored.

Going back to the affection values, does talking to Jessie really increase points with Tifa? IIRC, you have to talk to Jessie and look at the map of the Midgar Rail System; I seem to remember that they won't let you proceed with the plot unless you do, so I'm not too sure that talking to Jessie about it will increase points with Tifa...

So I was thinking about the time line of CoT. It starts right after ff7 and ends shortly before AC. But let us add up all the factors. In the official time line the end off FF7 and the new 7th heaven opening are listed under the same month. The last third of Jan08 (I think).

Now I could be wrong. But even before the airship the party had no real problems making good time. So I could give a month of wondering from town to town. But from arriving in Midgar to the opening of 7th heaven all told took 2-4 weeks if my calculations are correct. It is stated Barret leaves after the bar is open a week. Thusly Barret lived with C/T for all 1-2 months before setting off.

The next time jump is a big one. It says several months had passed from B leaving till the time Cloud got his bike.

The next time jump is finding Denzel. Which according to the official time line happens in 09. In the same time frame we have Cloud leaving and the entirety of AC/C. And AC takes place roughly 2 years after FF7. If I am not mistaken AC takes place over a week right? Which raises a few questions.

How long was Denzel around before Cloud left? It had to be long enough for them to form a family bond. To the point where D blames himself for Cloud leaving.

And How long was Cloud gone before AC/C? Considering the above? Not long. Because the way the time line is set up I can't buy more than a couple months between finding Denzel and the end of AC/C

How long between the Clouds Bike and Denzel? My guess? Considering the above? Several months.

So FF7->Barret leaving = 1-2 months
Bl->Cloud bike = several months
CB->Denzel = several more
D-End of ACC = couple months.

In conclusion. CoT jumps around quite a bit. Told in flashback with jump forwards of many months. But we can glean that Barret left early. And Denzel arrived late. With the better part of two years in between. What this has to do with the LTD? Well I am sure you can draw your own conclusion.

^This is another excellent reason I never count Maiden as canon. Obviously, it condridicts it's self and the rest of the story is contridictory to the rest of the story more than just little bits that are off such as Cloud's birthday being on the 11th and 19th that's just the creators being greedy, Maiden...obviously Benny wasn't so clear on the story seeing it was also his interpretation of CloudxAerith and only really showed Zerith and I've heard some Cloti stuff too. So is Benny's view on the relationship anti-CxA? Those parts upset me, but also the fact that Aerith was OOC, imo, half the novel if not more. Her being jealous and having a break down, I just don't see her that way so why should I listen to some member not part of SE and how he sees her? All in all, Maiden is shit. Burn book, burn. T_T

Of course I'm also thinking of the many times in the Sims when he's set the house on fire just making a TV dinner.... then there was the time I used the move objects code to literally put him inside the over and when it caught on fire, so did he. The stupid fireman came in, and put the stove out first XD... THEN he put Cloud out. I have a video of that, I should upload it.

Humm....Well that shoots the second half of my time line to hell. The only thing I was certain of was that Barret left early. And that Cloud got his bike several months after that.

Gotta love SE. It really shouldn't take piecing together various bits of information from multiple time lines, bio's and stories.

Well considering the rest of the timeline my guess would be that it is 6/29 09. It is conflicting. But I have seen 2 that say 09 and only one that says 08. Plus CoT starts in the last third of Jan 08. And you have to factor in the time Barret spent there and the several months after that until Cloud got his bike. Which would make me think it is well past the end of June. Which means it was several months between Cloud getting his bike and finding Denzel.

And according to Ryu ACC/C takes place between Nov 20 and Dec 19th 09.

So...Denzel was around 5-6 months before AC/C started.

Which still begs the question. How long was Cloud gone before AC/C?
