I'm curious on what age The Hobbit movie will appeal to and how they will attract girls into watching the movie. I wasn't interested with the trailers of LOTR when I was 9-11 years old but after watching I LOVED it and was so impatient to watch the next one. I also had a crush on Legolas like 80% of the girls (or women) who watched it.) I got obsessed with it when I rewatched it and read the books at 18 years old. My mom who is a SW fan also loved it (through she found the first movie boring because "they talk too much.")

Since they're doing the whole "drive Sauron from Mirkwood" storyline, Galadriel has to be involved somehow. I kinda hope we get to see White Council politics with Saruman getting elected leader while Galadriel wants Gandalf to lead it.

The Hobbit I read that in High School.I gotta say Bilbo is pretty much the everday person who is dragged into an adventure he really wasn't thinking of every happening.I kinda of like that because most of the time some would jump aboard being on a dangerous quest.Bilbo I think is the perspective of a homly person who is forced to go out of his comfort zone with a bunch of strangers.

It's advertised here as the 14th, but dates do tend to differ per region.

I'm simply going crazy over waiting for this. I might want it more than Christmas. xD
