I think thats nojimas way telling his audience that the relationship between Cloud and the other 'family' mebers a platonic one is

I think it's Kyrie who originally says that, after Vits calls her Evan's "girlfriend" which she refutes, saying instead that they're family even if they are not related. Cloud says that to them as they are leaving, "we're not related but we're family, the same as you."

They're an item, yeah. The late page is them in bed together. So yeah.

I'd probably hold my breath waiting for a HD Chocobo stable scene in the remake.

46. The epilogue started off straight where the last chapter left off, but soon moves ahead to the end of/just after AC. Evan, Kyrie and Vits are now living together, and when the Lifestream spring appears in the church, they take Vits there to get cured.*

Paraphrased: Cloud and Tifa are "living together"

It might be something special to this 'first iteration' of Kadaj. He seems a lot more like Jenova, reading people's minds and taking the form of people they knew. IIRC Tseng doesn't believe he's directly related to Jenova, but he still displays a lot of the abilities it had.

no Loz or Yazoo though right? ... this brings up a lot of questions about when they were made and now why... was it because Sephiroth was getting weaker?... but then he was able to make the other two...

Barret: I think it does refer to him and Marlene as well, but not necessarily as one massive family who all share the same bed with Red curled up at the foot of the bed and Vincent sitting that the window watching them sleep. There's room for everyone's interpretations

Lifestream Black: the Lifestream chapters were written kind of vaguely. The sense of time seems kind of loose, so it could possibly fit in between the creation of Kadaj and the creation of the other two.

The one bit that does seem to not fit completely is when Lifestream Black mentions the three remnants finding someone who remembers Sephiroth and what he looks like. This was already done by Kadaj alone in TKAA.

If only Nojima had consulted with the fan boards, maybe he could have made something less enraging. But no. The one guy who has the balls to continue the FFVII story doesn't shy away from the overuse of clichés and indeed his own writing tropes.

These people; Nojima, Nomura, Toriyama, Kitase, all of them... They need to understand that the franchise belongs more to the fans than it does to its originators. I don't see them realising this, unfortunately. They will not listen to the English fans, nor do I think that they pay any more special attention to the Japanese fans.

Don Corneo is alive. Woop-de-doo, now we will have to change the content of the remake so that players understand that he only breaks a few bones from that fall.

Beyond Cloud and Tifa appearing at the end, no. They mention that they are going to meet up, Barret and even Vincent coming to Seventh Heaven. This is probably a reference to the photo that appears at the end of AC.

I would absolutely stress a thousand times that you should not go into this book expecting to see much of the original team from the game. Just put that whole notion out of your mind, and take it as a side story focusing more on Shinra and original characters.

And now I've read the book, someone somewhere had said the book has Cloud saying he misses Aerith or something. That's not in the book, he never even mentions her. The only ones who (who actually knew her, so not Evan) were Tifa, Kyrie and the Turks.
