If only Nojima had consulted with the fan boards, maybe he could have made something less enraging. But no. The one guy who has the balls to continue the FFVII story doesn't shy away from the overuse of clichés and indeed his own writing tropes.
These people; Nojima, Nomura, Toriyama, Kitase, all of them... They need to understand that the franchise belongs more to the fans than it does to its originators. I don't see them realising this, unfortunately. They will not listen to the English fans, nor do I think that they pay any more special attention to the Japanese fans.
Don Corneo is alive. Woop-de-doo, now we will have to change the content of the remake so that players understand that he only breaks a few bones from that fall.
