A new image from a Chinese magazine has surfaced showing Cloud in the OVA: On The Way to a Smile – Case of Denzel, as well as Sephiroth in Advent Children Complete with his single black wing spawning forth from his back.

Edit: Also, Silent Tweak has translated some of the Chinese text for the scan! The textbox at the top left of the page next to the FFVII screenshot reads:
“In this work,[FFVII AC] Cloud and Sephiroth join the new scenario, the two’s show-down will be shown in a more intense way. The picture on the right is a new scene, Cloud’s body is surrounded by a blue aura, and that is the familiar Limit Break from [FF VII]. On the other side, Sephiroth expands his dark black-wing and prepares to fend off Cloud’s attacks. The two’s fated battle will be taken into a new height!”

That picture of Sephiroth’s wing is awesome. And I love the new screen shot of Case of Denzel – though, I can’t tell if Denzel if they’re smiling or frowning.
*Whines* I want to claw my eyes out they hurt so much from its awesomeness. Is there a site with a better close up?

It’s great to see Sephiroth reminding us why he’s the true “One Winged Angel.” Heh…that fight is going to be beyond epic. Fucking awesome.
I wouldn’t say beyond epic. Just from the length of the new OWA track, that fight is barely 50 seconds longer. I guess there won’t be too many changes.
Based om my calculations, the fight will have about 2 minutes of new footage.
In the original AC, Cloud was stabbed at 4:50 in the original Advent: OWA.
Since the fight will be redone from that point onwards and the ACC version is 50 seconds (exactly 2 minutes after the stabbing), this means about 2 minutes of new scenes.
Well, they could’ve always made changes to the battle sequence outside of the additional footage. Hopefully.

Nah, it’s just a consequence of Sephiroth originating from the Jenova Project. The wing is a natural part of his evolution.
..And a representation of his power.
From all those characters that I can recognize, it says that the ending song will be Mr. XXXX’s new song.. Does this refer to Safe and Sound? So Calling will be replaced?
