Dissidia Duodecim 012 – Official Site updated with more characters!

The Dissidia 012′s offcial japanese site has been updated with new characters.

Joining the roster are Zidane and Kuja from FFIX and Tidus and Jecht from FFX. In each one’s profile, we can see their special alternate uniforms, in addition to their attires from the original Dissidia as well as their Ex-Bursts. But beyond these four characters, we also have a newcomer, the water-walking Yuna.

Edit: And each character now has a new CG render in their profile’s background. Really awesome stuff!

Don’t forget that they’ve also included new cg renders of everyone, not just the newly updated characters. Most of these new poses are identical to the ones shown at the end of the trailer’s FMV (with the Cosmos Warriors at least) and a few are shown on the placeholder for the box. The earlier cg pics of Vaan, Tifa and Laguna grabbed from the FMV have all been replaced with the new ‘official’ poses.

SE has really outdone themselves with the expressions on these cg pics; the villains actually look like they’re going to kill anyone who crosses them. Sephiroth no longer looks smug; he’s got a creepy ass glare (and violet lipstick) and willing to do to you the same he did to a certain flower girl. Yikes.

Oh, thanks, Ella! I didn’t noticed that. You’re right, Sephiroth looks quite scary. And Kefka also looks nuts. Really awesome!

I’ve been wondering about something. I noticed in the DLC page that there’s another bonus outfit for Tifa. My curiosity wonders what brings about this bonus.

  It’s a bonus third alternate outfit available with the Special Edition of Dissidia 012. It is based on Yoshitaka Amano’s artwork of her.

I don’t know if it’s actually been confirmed yet, or if it was still just speculation, but according to the heroes render on the front of the Duodecim fancy soundtrack, Cloud isn’t on Cosmos’ side? At least I couldn’t pick him out in the image…
