Dissidia Duodecim 012 – Official Site update!

The Dissidia 012’s offcial japanese site has been updated with new characters.
Joining the roster are Terra, Kefka Palazzo, Vaan and Gabranth. In each one’s profile, we can see their special alternate uniforms, in addition to their attires from the original Dissidia as well as their Ex-Bursts.

Update: The site has been updated again. This time, S-E has released a video detailing the Assist System. You may check under the “System” section of the site, or you can watch it here.

It’s also good to point out that when you look at the Final Fantasy: A historical Compendium or the English Duodecim site. There is a Character slot reserved with an unknown label. A non Roman Numeral labeled Final Fantasy Character. What the heck should we expect…? Maybe Cid the Lufein? A Dissidia specific character? Or maybe something like Ramza or dare I say, Sora? I don’t know….. but it’s definitely worth noting.
I think the unknown label is there to avoid singling out any particular FF titles anytime soon. They’ve got at least 12 characters left to update to the roster and they probably want to keep the speculation of the new characters going for as long as possible so I doubt it’ll be filled until the game’s released. But the idea of Cid of the Lufein as a playable character sounds intriguing. He could use all the FF Airships in his Ex-Burst!
Hopefully they’ll be a lot more regular with their reveals if they want to publicize both the old characters and the new additions. I’m hoping we can get something in the way of two characters revealed a fortnight but that’s just wishful thinking.
Also WoL and Garland’s 3rd forms have deliberately not been released (Nomura told us to watch out for it) so that’s probably being saved as the final reveal. I wonder if it’s plot related or just another mythology gag? Hmm, FFIX Garland or an alternative form of Chaos Garland? Or maybe Garland looks identical to WoL? So much speculation to be had.
I’d prefer to see an alternative outfit that looks like the old ingame FFI Fighter and Garland (Not that he’d look different really). An unmasked Garland and WoL would also be prefered.

You know, after seeing the Assist system… I kinda want to see 2v2 or 2v1 battles in Dissidia. I know it’ll change the field too much, but hey.
They may add up Aki Ross to the roster.

I expected Auron to appear in 012, but they put Yuna instead. Yuna of all people! They should put Seymour, too.
