New FFVII Static Arts Figure: Sephiroth

A new Static Arts figure of Sephiroth has been released for a price of 16,800 円 at the Square-Enix Shop. Sephiroth is standing on a base that has been designed to resemble Meteor & is calling up flames around himself.

Dimensions- Height: 38.2 cm, Width: 44.3 cm (22cm w/o the Masamune), Depth: 20 cm.

The figure will be available for shipping on 4/20/2009.

Yes, this is all well and good, but… (I mean HEY! Sephy looks awesome!)

Why can’t Square focus more on characters that haven’t gotten any kind of love yet?
Y’know, like Genesis, or Angeal…or other misc. Turks that show up? Like Cissnei or Tseng? Or Rude even? XD;
I mean, how many figurines of Sephy do we have now?
I can count at least five off the top of my head… (this one, the AC play arts, the FFVII play arts, the Kingdom Hearts version, oh, and that other static arts from FFVII that’s paired with Cloud on the building…)
Like, seriously. I would kill for a figurine of Genesis. -faint-
