Yes, you’ve read it quite well! Square-Enix will launch this perfume in Mid-August, at a price of 7,140 yen.

Apparently, it will be an unisex perfume, with a light and refreshing fragance.

Now the only thing missing is Sephiroth’s shampoo with 12 different scents…

I’m normally not a fan of fragrances in any way, shape, or form, but this one is surprisingly… nice.

Admittedly, I originally bought it as a frivolous purchase – something to collect and say that I have – but the scent has surprised me pleasantly enough that I have been wearing it on and off.

Don’t let the fruity + floral combination fool you; the final ending scent that lingers is an earthier and spicier scent. The scent starts with a crisp citrus + faintly tropical whiff which transitions into a slightly sweeter and fuller note of floral which then melds into the earthier, spicier notes.

I’ve smelled countless perfumes owing to my time spent in high end retail and situated right next door to the cosmetics department; compared to most of the ones I smelled there, Sephiroth Eau de Toilette is a scent a few of those other scent makers could learn from.

It is exactly an Eau de Toilette – it’s brisk at the start to refresh and smoothly moves to the other layering scents until it ends with the final spicier notes. The last layer sticks around, but it isn’t cloying and it isn’t heavy. It is fairly light and easy on the senses which is exactly what it should be as an Eau de Toilette and not a Perfume or an Eau de Parfum.

At 50mL and used sparingly (seriously, just a little bit goes a long way), this bottle will be a keeper for a long time.

If anyone’s interested in a review of the product – scent, packaging, the works – I posted one on my site HERE.

Seriously, Japan? Seriously? Let me guess! It is charcoal based perfume from the ruins of Nibelheim? XD But guys you forgot…not just shampoo but Sephy had to use some amazing conditioner too for that insanely long hair that does not break off. An don’t forget to buy the lotion and shower gel too!
