How To Play Final Fantasy Artniks, The New Final Fantasy Crossover Game (via Siliconera)
Final Fantasy Artniks has quests and battles. You start the game by selecting a main card, maybe Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII or a grown up Hope Estheim from Final Fantasy XIII-2. Rare cards have more powerful abilities.
You can also use an equipment card which enhances all of the characters in your party. The Chicken Knife from Final Fantasy V and Arhat’s Gi from Final Fantasy XI are items in Final Fantasy Artniks. Defeating small fry enemies fills up a meter and when it’s full you trigger burst mode, which makes treasure chests appear.

No Final Fantasy Versus XIII in Square Enix’s Jump Festa line-up (via El33t Online)
Square Enix’s Jump Festa event held annually in Japan is an opportunity for the publisher to showcase its software line-up for the coming year. They recently detailed the main attractions at this year’s event, which runs from December 22nd to 23rd.
A new 3DS title called Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross will be playable at the event along with Dragon Quest VII and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Meanwhile, new videos for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X will also be unveiled. The most notable absence from the line-up is Final Fantasy Versus XIII which has reportedly been in development for over seven years but is still without a release window.
