Inside Final Fantasy VII Interview

by April 16, 2019 0 comments

Final Fantasy VII may have come out twenty-two years ago but the creators are still giving us new pieces of information and sharing anecdotes about what it took to create the game. In an interview posted on YouTube last week, Yusuke Naora, VII’s Art Director, Yoshinori Kitase, Writer/Director and Shinji Hashimoto, Publicity Producer, talk about their various experiences and some of the struggles they had to overcome in development.

Yusuke Naora is particularly candid in discussing the challenges they faced in moving from 2D sprites to full 3D renders.

It’s interesting stuff and very worth a watch for FFVII fans!
